Peter Knapp is Landor’s global creative officer, based in the London office. He has been with Landor for more than 19 years, first in London and then for a few years in the Hong Kong office where he had overall responsibility for steering and directing all branding programs in Southeast Asia. Peter is actively involved with many of Landor’s landmark clients and works with the global management team to establish a refreshed creative directive for the company. Peter has accumulated a broad range of branding experience across markets, geographies, and disciplines. He specializes in integrated branding programs where graphic, three-dimensional, digital, and engagement design platforms are merged to form total branded experiences for consumers. From flag carriers to low-cost airline brands, Peter is widely known for his unparalleled expertise in airline branding, where the entire customer journey is analyzed to yield unique customer interfaces. He also has a broad range of experience in other industries, including automotive, petroleum, spirits, financial services, telecommunications, retail, and leisure. Some of his clients include BP, British Airways, De Beers, Diageo, Ernst & Young, Gulf Air, Hang Seng Bank, Land Rover, Marks & Spencer, Maybourne Hotel Group, Morrisons, Preem, Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, S7 Airlines, and UKTV. Peter is a regular contributor on brand topics to national and trade publications and has contributed to various books and broadcasts on branding. He is often a judge at international awards such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, and Design Week. Peter is a proud Londoner, a long-suffering West Ham United supporter, and a real design geek.
